We were all totally blown away by the attendance. Thursday was the biggest surprise. Our show was technically cancelled as far as we knew. The Blues wanted to get their practice flight in so we got bumped.
We had left our planes on the flightline assembled that day because we had the paper taking photos that morning. The Blues were supposed to be down by 9:00 so we asked if we could still play around after they we clear. We were given the green light for 9:05. Turns out the crowd had seen our planes out and thought we may still be flying the show. Most of the people down on the line had been hanging out since 8pm. For a "cancelled" show there was still a ton of people down there. |

I wish I would have known! I was down there from Thursday to Sunday and brought some planes with. I stayed at a campground right next to the seaplane base on Lake Winnebago and got in contact with a local flying field in Appleton to get permission to fly there, but had a few foamies with leds on them to fly where ever I was
