Thanks chaps.
'WIGY is a Pitts S1-S built from Pitts (homestead) factory parts by a homebuilder in Virginia during 1991. She made her way to England in 2005 and she's been mine all mine since 2011 Before that I had a 25% share in the red one (which Curtis himself built), I also have a share in the CH601 that's in the early stages of the film - this will be sold when I complete an RV-6 that I'm currently building Be warned - this is what happens when an R/C addiction gets out of control ! |

A kit plane is on the bucket list. RV-6 is on the top of the list.

Go analog on that RV. Buddy of mine put all digital in his and now you cant do nothing in it without a bill for recalibration of the avionics. And the kicker is he put a G-meter in it, kinda redundant huh?

Every year about 8 of get together in Pitts's (and a CAP232 (that's allowed because the guy used to have a Pitts). We generally meet at Lydd (south cost of England) and then fly over to France for 3 days formation hooning and general beating up of the coast and the airfields we stay over at. It's all well behaved (except in the bars & eateries) and I have to say, the French have always seemed to appreciate our efforts. We've been doing it for 9 years and so far, so long as they know what we are doing and we stick to the rules "pas du problem" The other thing worth knowing is that what we Brit's (and Americans ?) call a "run & break" is an "Approche Millitaire" - we'd done about 20 before we figured this out ! Here's a flavour
