Don’t know but I saw one on the front of a giant stick at the Horizon Festival they had at Eli field back in June. Couldn’t find out anything about it.

That's interesting.
Galaxy RC has them for sale on ebay. Seems strange that Horizon hasn't said anything about an upcoming release.
I have been flying a FG61 TS for a couple years and really like it. I would be interested in a 100.

Hopefully they will then release a 50cc single since the engineering is complete for the FG100 twin. A 50cc single would be ideal for 50-60cc WWII fighters! The two stroke 50-60cc brands now in use just don't do it for me!

Wouldn't have enough power. That would more likely suite a 30cc sized bird. There is a 70cc single on the market that might have enough power but they sound horrible. Kind of like a big fart that resonates off the entire air-frame while shaking it to bits.

If you want a 50cc 4 stroke single, Moki, Kolm and Valach all make engines in this class (available at Vogelsang). OS makes a 40cc. Gaui also makes a 50cc that DA used to import but doesn't appear to anymore.

But I agree that 50cc 4 stroke is going to be a little light on power for a typical 1/5 WWII fighter. Works well in a 1/4 scale WWI *if* you can make it fit in cowl.

I have to disagree with the notion a 50cc four stroke will not have enough power in place of a two stroke. Four stroke turn a much bigger prop, the difference is flying style, but lb. for lb. or cc for cc, they are just as capable in a given cc airframe. I know because I fly with Valachs, 120 in a 120 airframe, 140 in a 140 airframe, a 170 in a 170 airframe, etc. etc. They are just as strong just a different kind of strength.

This engine is designed specifically for large models and performance airframes in the 70cc 2-stroke class.

Does anyone have this engine yet? I'm thinking of getting one for a 1/3 scale JTec Clipped Wing Taylorcraft I'm going to build. They list the weight at 9.5 lbs but that doesn't seem possible. Can it really be 4 lbs heavier than a DA 100?
