If he can fit a 2.6 Extra in a Sulo Bin, he can fit that Yak in a Magna - Easily

Lets put it this way, there was more room in the back of my car on the way back from the feild and a lot less room in one of the rubbish bins at the feild!

Easy done Jeff
Send it over here - I promise not to let Andrew anywhere near it

Rob what props are you using on your 170's? I am still undecided with mine (TSCS version) I currently have a PT 29/12 HP 3blade on it but it seems a little underpropped.

Re: Hempel Aircraft distributor in Aus

hey steve, for 3d 32x12 2 blade mejzlic and imac a 29x12 3 blade mejzlic. both of these props are reasonably quiet and offer excellent performance. The 32x10 mejzlic doesnt have enough load.

the pt 29x12 3 blade is the equivalent of a 28 x 12 3 blade mejzlic. one thing a 3w likes is a big prop and of course a good air baffle. That 29x12 pt prop will just allow you to overrev the engine, read, rip going straight up.

I also have used a pt 33x12 2 blade with some success. If you want to try it i can lend it to you.

3w=torque, lower revs, higher pitch, quieter operation.

Sprinkle dust over it and tell the wife " oh that plane honey, I've had that for years. The dust method, been keeping aeromodelers in expensive aircraft for years.

Dust method sounds good but what do you tell them when they check the credit card statement?
Jeff you could try Bribes, Take her shopping and tell her to go buy something she wants then she can't say anything when you come home with another plane
