warbird ? you are joking. make a hell of a noise and not good for anything else apart from burning up and down the strip. be good for racing though. alex

You need a Sea Fury or a Mustang, you'll never look back. - Anyway if you did it would probaly crash.

Right,

About time I put my 2c worth on here.

We need a 60 size warbird, ideally all the same one to eliminate airframe advantages. Like this: http://extremerc.co.nz/index.php?mai...roducts_id=218
or: http://extremerc.co.nz/index.php?mai...roducts_id=380
This keeps it affordable, and easy to replace WHEN the models get distroyed haha

And either electric from Hobby city which would cost about 250NZD for a power system that has some real boogy or say a a DLE 30? http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbyking/[email protected]

Oooooooooooo yeah haha

yes those small petrol engines look good. rear carb will help into narrow fuse, are the engines any good ? or do we have to change the bearings. alex

Whats all this talk of warbirds. For one they are gay in the smaller sizes and two have never seen one of those fly in a Red Bull air race? Just race your imacs. It will be a timed round so there is no risk of collisions etc. Funny how your Yak55 taylor has become one of the most popular birds around. When you first built it we were wtf is that thing lol. BTW some of you southees need to come and compete at some comps up here. I can lend you planes and free accommodation. Flights are cheap, probably cheaper than driving to chch to dun. The DLE 30's from what I have seen are bloody good.
