North GA IMAC challenge just a week away!

Wow.. already the fourth??
Time flies...

One week from now, the North Georgia contest starts!
A fantastic field, paved runway, golf course smooth grass runway, plenty of space...

Its time to get the plans together to attend...

Take a look at the map, Miami to Chesapeake... and Ballground ends up smack dab in the middle!

My wife will be arranging for her famous food on Saturday

We do have a schedule conflict for Sunday (son is going to summer camp.. ) so not sure yet on food for Sunday...

There are grills at the field, so feel free to bring food for cooking in the evening.

Camping is welcome and encouraged (no hookups!)

There is a covered gazebo, electricity, and water available at the field...

Wow, Thanks to Curtis for a great event! The weather was great on Saturday with winds pretty much straight down the runway, partly sunny and could not ask for any better. Lunch was amazing! You just can't beat a home cooked meal. Thank you to Curtis's family for that. Sunday was a different story because the weather was terrible. Raining, windy and a low ceiling forced an early ending but it was still great because the sponsors came through with excellent donations for the raffle drawing and everyone got to stand around and talk to one another before the event was unanimously voted to be canceled.

Thank you, I will see you next year.
