Ciao from Italy

CIAO,
quite new in this forum before the registration I was only an interested watcher.
I made my first flight with a giant last Sunday (YAK 54 85" Aerotech). All was perfect, this was my first flight with a gas engine I had experiance only with electric motor.
Next step will be to improve dramatically my confidence with this baby, I love 3D and Free style. I fly just for fun!!

Ciao a tutti

Re: Ciao from Italy

This is the only gas engine I have, the others are electric, I love Fliton brand, I own several models from this company, the best is the Jumping Jack.
The Yak54 has been imported directly from Aerotech in Florida, the carton box arrived in Italy in perfect shape none scratch was found on the model, I was lucky.
Here the model set-up

Engine: DA 50 with KS muffler
Prop-23-8 Mejzlik
Five Digital Servo Hitech 5645
Emcotec DPS Mini 5
2 KOKAM 1500 2S1P for the receiver

I used only the items I found in box, I bought only the wheels.
I'm sure, I'm the only one who own this plane in Italy.

The 5645's are probably great for that plane but if you ever want to spend any more money on the hobby I think you would notice a big difference if you swaped out the rudder servo for a more powerful 5955.

Hey Wing,

It's great to have you here!!

It sounds like you have a great setup, I'm sure you're having a ball with it. Good luck with your new plane and keep in touch with your progress!!!

How about a few pics and maybe some video, we'd love to see it.

Welcome to the Giants!!!

If you plan to stay longer in the Giant scale then the 5985 is a better investment then the 5645
