Glad to hear it's been helpful! I have six flights on my Extra now, been so busy with other things that I have not had a chance to collect my thoughts and get them written down. But will try to in the next few days.

I'm curious if you know the ballpark flying weight with battery. . . Also, what battery did you go with and what kind of flight times are you getting? I hope it flies as good as it looks!

I am using Turnigy NanoTech 6S 3300mah 35-70C packs, and they are working well. I currently have my timer set for 4:30, running when the throttle is above 1/4 stick. My flying is a mix of precision and slower 3D. If you're flying XA style and always on the throttle then the 3300 pack might not last as long as you would like. I will try to get the actual weight later today.

Empty weight is 5lb 1oz, with the 3300 pack installed is 6lb 5oz. This is without the SFGs installed (I have not flown with them yet).

Can you give your thoughts on you initial impression after having some flights logged.
How is low speed stability / wing rock.
I need a second 60" Extra but thinking I may give this a shot..great price and at the moment Free shipping.
EF got me for 299.00 & 52.00 shipping on a comparable size plane.

I'm not sure if anyone can help me out with this question here but I looked on PAU site and I couldn't find parts (wingtube). Is there something I'm missing? Maybe someone can tell me where I can buy parts for a extra 300sp?

The reliable way: contact the company, rather than social media....
We actually answer the phone, and return phone calls.
Emails work too, but less reliable because of of all the spam often overpowering legitimate emails.

Ok I'll call then. I just wasn't sure you even carried parts for this plane anymore because there's nothing listed on the site. Thank you

I've had the PAU for a few weeks, flown the crap out of it and I'm really enjoying it. Flies very well. I have a Precision Aerobatics extra as well that is roughly the same wingspan and power setup. I prefer the PAU. It took a bit for me to get it dialed in and learn how sensitive it was to elevator control but since it has been my favorite plane to fly. It goes to the field with me almost daily. I've run it on everything from a 3300 to a 5000mah 6s and all have worked well for me.
Unfortunately due to pilot error earlier this evening, I'll be ordering atleast a fuse from Herve next week. Idiot behind the sticks got dumb thumbs for a split second....

Side note - Herve, I sent a message through the site to get a price list for parts. You had told me to send an email for stuff like that when we talked a few weeks ago but I don't recall the email address and I didn't want to call this late on a Saturday evening.

Herve - Thanks for the email and was just as I figured!

Guys, the sale he has going on these right now is a smoking deal!! You'll save about $80 in shipping and at $229 its the best buy I've seen in the 60" electric size of this quality! Awesome plane and can't wait to have mine back in the air!
