WhiteRose Engineering still active?
Hi,
Is WhiteRose Engineering still active? I am looking for brake discs and I have sent two emails through the website and approached Vern through private message but haven't got an answer. As an other option to WRE brake discs do you guys have any DIY solution to increase the friction on the WRE 5" wheels. Currently my Extra does not even stay still in Idle (running DA-120). Thanks for your help. |

Paved runway i take it? I mix in a spoileron and it really is like hitting the brakes when you touch down.. also setup your “landing idle” as low as you possibly can on a switch so when its time to come in you flip the low idle and once you are on the runway hit those spoilerons and you may not find the need for brakes! Hope this helps
As far as White Rose goes i would just pick up the phone and call.. they have answered for me in the past |

Thank you for your response.
It is actually also with grass runway (but usually very short grass). The wheels are like supra conductors, no friction at all Thanks for your tips. I need to look into these as currently I don't use either of these. Ideally I would also increase the friction on the wheels to get peace of mind. |

I tried contacting them twice by email, to see if they can re-tread some wheels I bought from them...no response.
