A very good kit all in all, well worth the money. There are a few small rough spots in the covering and some hanger rash to deal with, but not bad at all. Mike can be proud of what he has brought to market...

Re: CARDEN HANGAR 9 BUILD

Okay the table is cleared off and on to the first stage. I will be using Peter Goldsmith's artical as guide line although I plan on cranking things up after a compete trim. I will be using 1 inch arms on the wings and stab, 1.25 on the rudder (mounted aft). My first step will be to number the servos, center each with the radio and match for the best center to an arm and number those. More pics to follow as this progresses.

Atta boy Scott! Keep the pics coming. I gotta live this build through you for the next week until mine arrives.
I count x4 8611,s and x2 8711,s whats the second one for?
I,ve got a spare 25mm drop header for a DA50 if someone needs one.
Also can someone measure the landing gear for me, I,d like to order a set of gear from Graphtec but will need the measurements to get something close.

Re: CARDEN HANGAR 9 BUILD

Congrats on the Yak Scott. Does the plane include a spinner? What size does it use? Does it come with the all the linkage hardware (servo arms, HD Horns, clevises, etc)?

Thanks and good luck with it!

No spinner, that would be a 4" P-51 style, no servo arms but the linkage and horns are included.

The second 8711 is an 8717 for the throttle, much faster responce time and with the 10x I can slow it down if needed.

Like I said, I'm going from Peter's artical to start with which uses a little shorter arm than the instructions call for.

well.. i was thking to cut it.. but i'm not sure..
it's depends where i'm going to install the PB-Royal Screen... (i'm serious.)
mabe it won't be comfortable to install it inside the canopy window.. because of the screen connector and wire...
so if i'll install everything inside the fuse.. i'm going to cut all.. and i'll just use 2 lines of carbons for the Pilot to stand on..
