If I quote an earlier post with photo attachments, my reply will not display the photo attachment.

I just get something like the below example in place of the photos when I preview my post. Something I'm doing wrong or setting within my profile maybe??

If the image is uploaded to FG, then it won't show up in a quote. Only the text of the post will be quoted.

So my only option is to find that members attachment and post a single post link. If the photo was uploaded on the forum? At least that's what I have done in the past.

Maybe I will try some tests in the test forum.

Two other options are saving the photo and uploading it to your post.

Or copying the link to the photo itself and embedding it into your post using the BBCode

No problem. That code I put in the reply above is all you need to insert a photo. Copy the link to the photo and paste it in the middle instead of the "image link here" text and it will. Just make sure the photo is not a very large size as that creates issues with smaller browser windows like on mobile devices.
