When I crashed my first 88 Yak I kept the 3mm bonded washers. They have now been on several planes. Only size that I have found will fit a 4 40 cap head bolt. And they work great. Kind of irrelevant to discussion, but what the heck.

This is border line me off.
Need a new system for this. Junk blind nuts maybe, don't know. May try bigger ones. Say 5mm. Or switch to something like this... https://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/...py#post2988225 This happened over the weekend. |

I know I'm not the only one having issues with this.
Here is a screenshot from another Yak on YouTube..... Tape over his bolts. |

Stand offs
Hello! I haven’t read though the entire thread yet, but has anyone here mounted a DLE120 to it? If so what size stand offs were required?
Thanks! Patrick |

Many have done that but I am sorry to say I have no idea of what size standoffs it took. But in the manual it gives the distance from the firewall to get out the front of the cowling, I would think DLE has on their website the engine dimensions so it shouldn't be to hard to figure out.

Yak 54 110 V2 Problem with stab-tube
Hello RC-friends,
I am begin now to build this model and have a big problem with seat from the stabe-tube. I have buy this model-kit in march 2020 by european-dealer aerobertics. He has no more spareparts. The kit ist a good quality up to the stab-tube an sleeve! It is not good-Quality! My stabe-tube is on the one side good fit, but on the other side of the stab it will not going in the sleeve! The stabe-tube will on this side not insert not even by force! I did try once with a little bit baby-pouder, but not success. What can i make now? Thankyou very much, Jens Eilzer |

Slide stab tube into the socket and measure how far in it goes. Also try both ends of the tube in the good end of the socket. If both ends fit, the problem is in the socket. Also put the stab tube in without a stab attached. I had a twisted stab that effected the tube alignment with the socket. Look in side the bad side and try to determine what the obstruction is. You don’t want to sand any more of the socket than you have to.
