Looks to be the same as the DA-170, but exhaust is unique to it, unless DLE change it on the production run to something different of the same as the DA170.

As I know, most tests are done and waiting for parts now.
The project of DLE170 was started from Autumn of 2009, it's almost 2 year.

Thats great that it has been under development for quite a long time, hopefully any bugs have been ironed out too , Hope we get a firm release date soon.

Extraline how is the the test dle170 going?, were all eager for some pics or vids all setup

I'm talking my Dad into getting a DLE30-powered plane. I have a DLE-55. Next logical progression is something with a 170 and then convince him of getting a 111. Then I'll get the 222 and we'll be just dandy!

Nice to see that DLE keeps coming out with nice, reliable, engines at a tolerable price.
