EMAS Carburetor Replacement - DLA 112

Hello All - I am looking for a direct replacement for this carb. Is there a Walbro replacement? If so, could you please provide the model number? Thank you in advance.

Walbro WJ-71-1
This is the model used in most 100-120 CC engines.
I replaced my DLE carb in my 111 with it and it works well.

So, one more question - where is the best place to get one of these? When I do an internet search, it worries me that it seems like there are several versions, some of which might not work for our purpose. Maybe it’s just bad product pictures or something. I just want to make sure what I buy is the right style.

Do they sell them? I looked on their website and didn’t see carbs listed. I’ll give them a call.

DA is probably one of the more popular sources for the WJ-71. As an option they even offer some nice throttle and choke arms. Mile High RC and Valley View are also good sources among many others.

Crap. I’m an idiot. I didn’t look under “parts and accessories” on their website. Got it. Thank you.

And kudos again to DA. They make the finest powerplant options we have in this hobby. And this is a prime example. $118 to my door but worth every penny.

Just placed an order on AliExpress for a new EMAS carb, for my DLA-112. $15 and change. Love the sources on this forum. Went to the DA site and also found the Walbro version I would use on my engine.

I used to sell DLA engines and the two things that aggravated me more were: 1.) DLA ground off the Walbro carb part numbers, making it a challenge to source carb kits. 2.) DLA "Buffed" the mounting surfaces on the mufflers, totally messing up the machined surfaces necessary to create a good seal with exhaust ports.

I would provide them with my findings and recommendations, only to be ignored. Other than that, the engines run very reliably.
