Tucson Aerobatic Shootout 2019 Information

The 2019 Tucson Aerobatic Shootout will be October 9th-13th.
Registration is now open at the below link for the Sportsman - Unlimited Class. This page also explains how to qualify.

Can you explain the selection process or give an example? I guess I don't understand what a "more flexible manner" means.

I'm only making uneducated guesses here but lets say two or three pilots have similar
standings in the same class. I can imagine that if you have one pilot who is a lousy windy
weather pilot like myself or some pilot who always signs up for everything and rarely shows
up, or perhaps another who often skirts the rules a bit (proper pilot/panel) then it gives the
CD room to elect the most suitable contestants first. If I'm wrong then well...…...

This is more of a resume based selection process. It opens it up a bit more to those that may not can make three contest throughout the year.

IMAC Classes: This year we will be flying an UNKOWN on Wednesday! Unknowns will be sent via email Tuesday afternoon. They will also be available at the field Tuesday afternoon after the judges meeting.
