I'm just down to a few items to get, one being making a call to DA for a new 120. Oh, and go CATS!! Grew up in London/Corbin area. So for my set up, this is what I have planned.


-DA 120
-JTEC QC-80 canisters
-Falcon 26-12 3-blade
-Tru-Turn 4" spinner (I had it already and it's painted)
-Hitec HSB-9380's
-J&J tail wheel carriage and spring upgrade
-Taildragger 34oz tank and servo extensions
-Changing the wheels and some other hardware out to Dubro.

This will be my IMAC ride till I get my Giles built. The wife said she would never by me another plane if I didn't fly the one she got me and if sell it she will kick my a$$, so I guess I will have this one for a long time.

I know what you mean .... My Wife buys me planes from time to time
as well .. the last one was valentines day... and I fly the bipe every
time she goes to the field with me.... its a great little flyer and it
means alot ...
so you should make every attempt to get it in the air and enjoy it and the fact you have such a wonder person behind you while you enjoy your hobby...
I know I DO....I have in doing this hobby for 36 yrs now...

Hi guys. Does anybody know if the 300X canopy fits the old 300? I can't find any spare parts for the 300 anymore.

Still looking for spare parts (canopy and perhaps engine cowl)

I have read someplace that the cowl from the 300x is the same fit. I am not sure about the Canopy.

Ok, I just got through reading through this entire thread and found some great information. I just bought a used 35% hanger 9 extra and I am in the process of setting it up. I know this is old thread but I thought I would check and see if anyone is still flying their extra, and have made any changes?

After 8 years of storage I decided to assemble my H9 Extra 300. We still have to put the exhausts, start the engine and make adjustments to the radio. And of course maiden day.

Still flying mine for IMAC and mild 3d. DLE120
It is very well built, and a solid airframe.

Awesome plane, i have the 3 of them, the 260, the 300 and the 300X, the 260 and the 300 Was the best, the 300X bad quality and construction Issues
