You are welcome. Half of the wing sheets are broken, a couple of plywood parts too. 10 minutes of packng would have saved me a lot of aggravation. |

Yes!
Top wing... ...Done! Bottom wing... "just" needs the control horn slots cut... I managed to make more time and have been working again on the Ultimate... ...but not enough to post detailed pics as before! This is from last night... |

Perfect timing. I am ready to start on the wings, but the kit I bought that was "complete" did not have the cd with the pictures and I was just dragging my but on starting on them.
I am still a little grumpy about the "perfect kit" he sold that had all the wing skins busted up... but karma will find him. |

Here are the “perfect” bottom wing skins as I received them.
Where I come from this isn’t perfect. |

Not saying I wouldn't be annoyed, but balsa is incredibly fragile when cut cross-grain like that.
Looks like all you really need to do is replace the rib cap strip portion, which you could easily do with some sheet wood? IDK, I guess I wouldn't be too surprised to find that in a 2nd hand kit, and I think I'd just roll with it. Definitely disappointing though, especially considering what those kits cost new and the good reputation they have. |
