I was watching videos two months ago now I have four 250's and a 450 to run the camera.

I have one on the build table now. Maybe we should try and convince Pat that he needs to create a track in the back woods at TT for Joe Nall so we can race when we need a break from the main lines.

Waiting on the esc's. Spent a lot of time playing with cleanflight and the Naze acro flight controller the last couple of days. This multi rotor stuff is like a science project. There is a lot to learn.

How do you like the Naze flight controller? I haven't got to play with one yet. I use flip boards on my racers and all my aerial photography stuff I use DJI.

The controller seems to be great, easy to solder up and a lot of capability. The real star so far is using cleanflight instead of baseflight for programming. It is amazing to me all these people are working so hard on this stuff for free. Cleanflight has several new PID controllers, addressable RGB LEDs, more stuff than I can figure out. I did get the LEDs to work on another quad this weekend check it out.

Very nice build! Here is my fleet.

I never really like the quads til i went to OHB and saw these flying an invertix inverted they had about 8 or 9 out on the field at once, before they all landed i walking walking to the tent and bought one, i do admit they are a blast. A real eye opener at my field flying around inverted, most dont know they can fly inverted and fast too

Well I busted my FPV cherry last weekend and I liked it, i'm going to keep it on airplanes until I get the feel for it a little better then i'll build a quad and start the racing thing !!!!!

Been busy at work so I haven't built the dedicated racer, but I did strap the camera on a quad and fly it around. It is great fun, actually easier to fly in acro mode using the goggles than without. I always find myself struggling with finding level flight, maybe that is the IMAC coming through, probably nobody else flying a quad cares if it is level and square to the path. FPV makes it easy though.

We will have to get SE racing league together for after hours racing at the contests.
