I had time to work on the wheel pants this weekend and have the sides of them cut out.

Y'all need to get over to the ProBro site for ideas on mounting gear…
DO NOT glue your battery seat belt straps to the side of the fuse… cut slots and run them all the way around. Is your 8S a single pack, or 2 4S packs in series? Saddle packs make strapping and mounting easy with a pair of slots cut for the velcro seatbelt. If you want the Rx in the fuse, typically a tray is built in the fuse passthrough between the root ribs. This does weaken the root ribs slightly - especially on a RW plane - but there's probably enough material on this one to hog out a larger hole… -Case |

Hi CanCanCase, thanks for the info.
I had exactly planed on using that vary strap set up, yes it will be 2 lipos one each side. mmmmm.. I mite use some thin ply to make a small 1/4 x 1/2 plate to glue where the slots will go to support the opening of the slots. Thanks for getting me thinking about that CanCanCase. The fuse has 2 holes that match ones in the end wings rib that will allow the wires to go through with out any cutting of ribs. Ill try to get a pic soon. I am having some back prob. that have kept me from being more motivated. Had a MRI done last week and another test will be this thur. I will get it done, just not too fast. |

Exrta Slik I ordered 4 Hobby King 40mm Carbon Fiber servo arms to bolt onto the standard servo arms.
I think they my be too short tho. I wonted the 65mm. but they where not in-stock. I mite be able too use them, I will have too hook up the linkage to see what kind of deflection it will give. I will keep you informed. |

I'm using 1.5 inch arms and I'm getting 90% of full deflection.
