Scratching out a fuse???

So I have an older extreme flight 68" yak laying around. I am thinking about using the wings and scratch building a profile fuse. Any suggestions on dimensions. I'm planning on powering it with a DLE 20. I have never really scratch built anything but I figure that a profile would be a great place to start.
I'm thinking of using depron and sheeting the fuse.

Just start gluing everything up and sand off everything that isn't airplane...LOL

Seriously, just use the profile dimensions of the "real" model.
