Did the rudder this AM... Going smoothy.

I decided not to send rudder to Germany to fix NICKS and SPELLING.
Spelling we can laugh at, nick, I can find paint shop to mix me some touch-up.

But , damn that nick looks ugly.

It's looking good, Wayne. Don't worry about the slots. They are fine & under the plane anyway. The judges will only see them when you are in Knife-Edge!!

Mine is on order. I understand they ship to your local airport. What was the process to pick it up? Did they just tell you what flight it was coming in on?

The jet will have 3 receivers, plus a wireless switch. (All Jeti!)
2 receivers are 2.4, the 3rd is backup on 900mHz

Also installing a Digitech CTU for telemetry from KingTech 210 to Jeti dashboard!

Wrap a tool that fits the shape you like with sand paper and use it. The slots will take the form of the tool. For example if you want straight lines wrap a straight edge or just use a nail file to get it straight. for the rounds I usually use a sharpie and wrap sand paper around it it produces the most consistent rounds.

What did you do with the damaged paint/parts? Did TH make it up for you ?

This is a sample of slots I made before. Like I said I would just use different shape tools and sizes wrapped with sand paper.

Looking great Wayne D.... The extra fuel line on top of the tank is definitely needed for F3S!! A straight line to the outlet will leak fuel out on the vertical down lines. I've seen it before when I was judging at the Red Flag event, 2 years ago, and that was when I decided to use what we have already learned flying Scale Aerobatics.

Keep it going!

Can you show me some pics of your nose gear mounting? I had to grind out some material to get the electron gear in there, but now need to get it further forward so it will extend. Did you cut the fuse at all to give the strut clearance, or just keep cutting materials from the gear mount until you push it far enough forward?

Had to do the same on my v2, I put the gear all the way forward and just took material off the former until it cleared.
