Wrongway called me. He has a bunch of the Scream Machines, so he helped me with his knowledge.

I just had a nice conversation with him. He is in good health, cancer free for third year I think he said. He has sold out all of his rc stuff and does not fly any longer. I guess after making the Mini Reaper go over 140mph no challenges were left... until he drove a friend's Hayabusa motorcycle... so he got one, drove it a couple of times to over 200mph and sold it.
Bob, he recommends 28% mac on the plane you have. I though mine wound up happy at 30%. It might be about preference as to if you want it inverted neutral or not.
I may have convinced him to take a ride over to our April 8th Fun Fly at the Flagler rams, he said he would try.

Hey everybody. Six weeks out until the Flagler Rams April 8 fun fly.

4/8/2017 - 4/9/2017 -- Bunnell, FL (C) FLAGLER COUNTY RAMS APRIL FUN FLY. Site: . Richard Bahmann CD PH: 386-316-3739 Email: rdb127@hotmail.com. Visit: flaglerrams.com. Sanction #17/484. One day fun fly, gates open at 8am. Flying until afternoon when food and drink is gone. No landing fee. Food and drink will be available with a donation jar on table to help offset food costs. No turbines for this field. Sponsor: FLAGLER COUNTY RADIO AERO MODELERS

We have not moved to the new field yet. At last word, we were waiting for the EPA to finish up paperwork on us. So this fun fly will be at the same location as the last events.

The club is cooking lunch which will be hamburgers, hot dogs, Jon Day's famous pulled pork (takes some 14 hours to cook slow) beans, potato salad, and other covered dishes from some of the club members and their wives plus water/sodas. As usual, they will put a donation jar on the food table to help offset the cost of the food for the large crowd.

Parking will be available at the top of the hill and the bottom of the hill after that fills up. We have a great club with wide open spaces.

Bring a chair if you want to just spectate.

Also, pilots are encouraged to bring r/c items for swap meet or a few bucks if you want to shop for any items brought by others.

This will be my first event as CD and I hope to see you all there! Remember, anything permitted except for turbines.

Richard

Great turnout for our fly in breakfast today. food was good, (except for a few butchered eggs) and a good time was had by all. Foamie brought a war bird that was a delight to see fly, he makes it look so easy. Glad he came as I ran off and forgot my gas for my plane.

We also have a fun fly and swap meet on the 10th of Feb, 2018. No landing fees, food ava. and no charge for swap meet, Donations will be accepted. you must bring your own tables for the swap meet.

We have a sanctioned pylon racing event coming up in March, details to follow later.

Sat. June 9th, electric and edf jets fun fly at Deland, along with swap meet. No fees , food for purchase. Just good fun and looks like if last swap meet was any indication, the swap meet should be terrific. Should be getting started by 8 AM

That was one of the better fly-ins I've ever attended! Great flying, everything just ticked along like clockwork! Good times!

Well done Hawks!

I would have loved to come down but I was booked for a giant scale warbird fly-in up at Hodges.

My girl crush in high school used the same excuse to get out of going to prom with me.
