I have not weighed it yet, or flown it yet. I set it up a little nose heavy as far as CG. Waiting for some nice weather. My buddy keeps a scale in his van and he's waiting for nice weather too! It seems to be around 28 to 29 pounds to me, but even at 30 pounds, the DA 120CC engine will allow any 3D moves to be done with plenty of pull out power! I also added White Rose 5 spoke wheels and have 4 decals coming for the alierons that say,( The Money Pitt ). Made those at B&E Graphics!

Eager to hear your flight report, I have a DLE111 with bowman rings and a da120 carb its been yanking my Pilot 37%Edge around for years now, going to put it in my Pitts and see how it does, the DA120 should be explosive power on this plane wish I had one, but gotta make due with the 111 for now.

The DLE 111 should do fine because ur in Texas, however, up here above 5000ft u need grunt so Da it has to be! If u ever get a chance at a new DA , buy It!!! They r THE BEST, all around engine out there as far as I'm concerned. The difference is night and day to most others.

Got the spats from Extreme Flight, but they won't work for these landing gear. Attachment tab is to short Bummer, back too the drawing board They r kinda cheesy looking anyway. I want the open end to be closed so it doesn't look hollow. This is the general idea though, in carbon fiber.

Got my motor and cans mounted today.. along with rudder and elevator controls..

I see what you mean by the rudder hitting the elevators.. I guess these rudder control horns are used on all the models so that is why they hit on this one.. easy fix..

I enlarged the holes in the former where they were cut for the cans.. I used DA mounts and put one set inside the fuselage and the other set in the tunnel on the correct canister cg. I didn't want the cans sitting on the cut out wood holes front the factory..

I used a plastic servoe mount that I had for the throttle servoe.. the supplied mount was too big

I had some 3w- L-80 cans, that I have had for several years. Front dump.

Rear dump may work but I had to cut the exhaust extensions off to get them in plane. I'll extend them with silicone tubing through bottom later

Not alot of room so keep it easy as possible..

90mm drop headers
