battery amp draw

i have a 36% pilot sbach with a dle 111, hitec 7955,s on elevators,ailerons,7950 on the rudder and a 5645 on the throttle.i,m using 2300 123,s x 2 for the onboard batterys through 2 switches.everthing is new in the plane including the ignition battery.after two ten minute flights of mild 3d i recharged my batteries and they both took about 300ma.does this seem normal,i,m sure the batteries will draw more as i fly more aggressive.just wondering.any thoughts.in recent planes i usally just charge and go after about 3-4 flights.i never really paid attention to how much i put back into the batteries.

you're in the ballpark of what I would expect from a 100 cc plane. 300 - 400 mAh per 10 minutes of flying. This is an average current draw of 1.8 - 2.4 Amps.

Yep, that sounds about right. On my 35%ers I usually use 125/130 out of each battery per 10 minute flight

equipment: JR 9 channel receiver, 5 x 7955 servos, 1 sahara regulator, DLE ignition, 1 x 5955 throttle servo.

You guys aren't flying hard enough LOL !! My 35% when using a123's on a 12 min flight burned 500mha per pack. Now I went to lipo's and use 300 per flight. Not sure why, only thing I can think of is the lipo's can't put out the amps of an a123 so it draws less out of the packs. The plane is way more resonsive on lipo's . The servos are really fast and powerfull now.

My 36% Sbach is set up with 1 - 7950 on each aileron, a 7950 on the rudder, 1 - 7955 on each elevator and a 5985 on the throttle. I also use and IBEC on the ignition and run no seperate ignition battery. I use around 525MA per 12 min flight.

I am seeing about 300 mah X2 (300 per battery) for a 15 minute flight, whereby I perform exactly 15 snaps. The peak amp draw is between 3.5 and 5.6 amps when I do the snaps.
