gbaggerly,
Thanks for your answer. This is my basic feeling, why should the MINTOR not run on pipes as all other types. The questions are: which pipes do you successfully use at what tuning lenghts? As already stated, I use the MTW RE2s at 14 inch header lenghts on the 110.

I wouldn't use any tuned pipes made by any one but Mintor. There tuned pipes are made specifically for there engine, and headers. I bought mine through Top Dawg Aviation. I contacted them, they contacted Mintor and had they hand made. Very light weight, not pressed together, rivets. The motor cylinders are steeled lined. I use a 3 blade 31X12 prop, I can rip it in a horizontal line. I can accelerate my Carden, 126" wing span, on a vertical up line, no slowing down on a snap on a up line. You can not go wrong by getting a Mintor Motor.

Ken: on the ground about 6300 rpm. I would like to see what it does in flight. If I had telemetry I would bet 6500rpm or better!

The 33cc Mintor engines arrived and less than 24 hours later they are sold out!. We have another shipment coming in about 2 weeks. That shipment will have more 33cc's and the new 38cc as well.

Gbaggerly,
Maybe it´s a good idea to contact Claudio again, perhaps he will offer a similar solution for the 110s now. In the meantime could you measure your pipes at the biggest diameter and the MINTOR specific tuning length!?

Blaine ,Dennis ,When will you be getting the 75cc twins in ?
I did this to the stock mufflers,so far so good here on the deck with several liters of fuel thru the engine.
Seems as tho they will hold up,but have yet to fly it ,so it s an unproven set up.However they were proffessionaly tig welded for me this way,And so far no crack have appeared and the Engine run very very smoth with them.

Just got my 33cc today! Thanks Dennis at Top Dawg! WoW! Piece of work!
Going to post the build with this motor here:
https://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/...15#post1558829
Any Info on that choke setup would help. I'm a little confused?
Also I downloaded the manual and says to run 2% is that 50:1?
And I don't see a break in ratio listed. I will be running a quart of fuel
on the stand as recommended.
Thanks
SS
