Curious if anyone has ran tuned pipes with their 70 in this? Any info would be appreciated. Thinking about getting this one to get my feet wet after 3 years of not flying while overseas, and to get back into the grove flying IMAC. I’m planning to get the 125” version, but thinking it would be better to go a little smaller to keep the pucker factor and stress level down for awhile until comfortable.

I’m using normal mufflers. It does have a pipe tunnel, and I know people are using them, just don’t have any experience with them myself.

I haven’t see any with tuned pipes, but I see some folks happy with a 2 into 1 header and MTW 110 rear dumb canister.

Been tossing around the idea of switching from Da 70 to the Gp 76. Does everything fit inside your cowl with the 76? The 70 is a tiny bit smaller, and it’s already crammed in there pretty good. Just wondering if there would actually be a noticeable power upgrade, or if it’s not worth it? Gotta say, I love my Da 70, it has performed flawlessly so far.

been fantastic with the GP-76 have to use the jtec pipes very small notch on left side for muffler maybe 3/4' and 1/4 wide so muffler does not rub cowl. I have a DA-70 in my Mamba, that i have been very happy with. My GP76 is not broke in yet. Cliff

Got it. I will probably keep the DA for now, as it has treated me well. Just been hearing lots of good things on the 76, and GP in general.

My da70 in my mamba runs great too, starts easy, good power. Had a guy give me a eme 70 with electric start, and pipes. had nothing to put it in.

Hi fellow Extreme Flyers,

I just got the Laser and will be using the GP 76 with Falcon 24x9 on stock mufflers.

On the electronics side I go for Powerbox Pioneer with HV servos at 8.4V and two Futaba 7008SB Rxs.

Regarding my servos I have in stock from other projects 4 x MKS HV777 (the older version not +) and 2 x SAVOX 2290SG Brand New.

How would you distribute the servos on the model? The Savox which are more powerfull on AILs or ELs?

I know that the strongest must go on RUD but I can not unpair the SAVOX unfortunatelly.

Opinions are appeciated.

Best regards,
N
