I hate to disagree with you, but I do, buddy.

I've hired over 250 engineers and technical staff and have a track record of building high performing organizations. Skills and experience are only part of what makes an organization and an individual successful. The ideal candidate also has to fit into an organization's culture, or they can become toxic, no matter how good they might be in another environment.

It is commendable for a company to state their values up front and certainly appropriate to hire qualified people that also fit within their culture and share those values.

And, as far as "wokeness" (a term that seems to always used in the pejorative), just because that company may not share one's values, doesn't mean that they should be outright insulted for being up front about it.

They must be doing something right to have raised a lot of capital and have partnered with a major airline. Maybe they aren't idiots?

Many companies exist to be a company and never really produce a product for sale,, they just exist to raise money for the company's execs, once they take in a bunch of investor money,, they sell or just go under,,

What exactly is a "transformative travel experience" I mean really,, a 60 mile range 2 person aircraft based airline network? we have helicopters for that now don't we?

Sure seems to me they are just trying to take advantage of the current woke green energy/electric only vehicle social media trend to make a pot of money.

Green, however, is not. Renewable/sustainable energy and material sources are a thing, and I have large corporate customers willing to pay for it. EV's like Tesla and others are hardly a "woke" transitory social media trend, but a longer term trend. At one time, none of us flew electric RC planes.

In theory, a multirotor has the potential to have lower R&M costs than traditional helicopters, and if so, could theoretically offer point-to-point rides less expensively than a helicopter. But that's only a guess.
