Please help
I am trying to set up a FI 232 Cap with an Aura8 toa Graupner 12L receiver using a Graupner MZ24 pro.
I updated the 12L to latest software and set up the MZ24 to SumD on CH6.
First issue the T outlet on the 12L is on Ch5....
Plugging the Aura on either Ch5 orCh6 results in the same... multicolored led does not lock on the signal

I set my Aura up on a Gr 16 a while ago, but I'll try to help.



What does your Aura config file look like? I set mine up manually ("auto detect" off)


Transmitter type...Graupner
Receiver connection...Graupner SumD on Port...B
Sum D data format...SumD of 12 (or 8, if 12 doesn't work)





In your transmitter pic, you have the telemetry sensor (ch 5) set to on and Sumd on ch 6, so the signal coming out of the receiver (on ch 5) is telemetry. For now, change "sensor at ch 5" to off, see if ch 5 gives you a signal. If not, move the cable to ch 6- B on Aura

I haven't messed with the Aura yet....
I tried using both che5 and ch6 without luck

I should leave the previous line "sensor at channel 5 in NO (OFF) "
and then SUMD at Ch. 6

I will try again, and then will hook the Aura and put it on manual

Looks like your gyro isn't auto detecting the receiver. Download the aura config tool from flex, connect the gyro to a windows computer. The tool will walk you through the initial set up pretty well. I didn't need to fiddle with most of the settings, beyond the initial set up on the first page. Just remember to hit "write to aura 8" when you get everything set

I updated the Aura and when through initial setup, put Graupner SumD and wrote to Aura.
Tried twice no luck.... then put the Mz24 in SBus mode instead of SumD and now it works.
