AMR is carrying them now in Canada and I think Dave was looking at them in the USA. (Plane bender)

not really.
They are shooting for that power, but have yet to achieve it.
I'm sure it will be a great engine, but the power output has yet to be determined.

Presonally i cant wait till the 123 and 61. Both of the engines 88/176 have been amazing so far. If the 123/61 perform at all like the 88/176 that i have then they will be great engines. I think that fergie has also gone above and beyond what any other Asain engine manufature has done when it come to serviece, i.e. parts in just a few days as well as him coming out to events like Joe Nall this year and showing the engine and flying with Dave and I. Personally i am really looking foward to where GP engines is going. I bought my 176 a year ago when there was very little know about them and it has been probably the best chance i have ever made in the hobby. Thanks Fergie!

oh nice to know. For some reason, I didn't think they have been out that long.
I'm going to reach out to PB and see if he will be carrying these in the near future.
I know he was making a da-170 header to GP exhaust adapter, which I will need too.

By the way, whats the true weight of the GP176?
I needed to mount my 5200mAh Duralites waay forward to get my 42% raven to balance out with a DA-170.

Would love to be able to have a bit more nose weight due to the engine and put the batteries in a more sane location for maintenance purposes.

The weights are the last post on page 17.

The mounting spec will be wrong on the new engines as I think Fergus has changed the mount to be the same dimension as the DA150/170. Just check with him to confirm.

Looking good. Are the marks where you are thinking about shaving down the fins a little?
