advice

i have this one pice wing, unfortunately itis sheeted over the ribs so i cant see where the holes are in the ribs to feed the servo extension wire through. the only thing that of is measeure between the ribs and cut a small piece of sheeting out so i can see where the holes are feed the extension through then glue the pieces back in. my question is would this be advisable? Any advice would be appreciated.

I would stand the wing on end and tie a small weight like a hex nut onto a piece of string/fishing line and try to send it down little by little. May need to wiggle and finesse it a while but you’ll get it

The best way is to use bead chain. It is the stuff that ceiling fans use for the on/off switches. A good hardware store should sell it in bulk but most sell short lengths. The smaller the beads are the better for snaking through the wing. Buy as many packs as you need to make a chain long enough to reach the servo pockets. Pour the chain into the center section, stand wing on a tip and shake. The very flexible bead chain will find its way much better than a weight on a string because any part of it can fall through a hole as opposed to just the weight on the end of a string.

I would start from the servo pockets towards the root of the wing.
Keen ear to her where it gets stuck.. take a video... in this tik tok days is great fun to see all the contortions trying to get it through

Yeah.... I see how this would work, I like it, Try this

If all the servo holes line up on the ribs, a long piece of dowel or metal rod be ideal.

I like the shop-vac idea, but I use a lamp-pull-chain(available at HomeDepot lighting dept)... and just insert as much as I can and shake it down.

Just a few light shakes gets it snaked through quickly, then secure a servo lead on the chain(usually with a bit of vinyl tape wrapped tightly), and pull it back up.
