Rudder is pretty soft on this model so try and get as much deflection as you can get. It comes in handy for landing roll outs in a cross wind. Looking back at the manual, it does look as if the factory have painted the wrong horns blue. Sorry about that also. I have just sent an email asking if they can etch into each horn the location ( ELV, RUD and AIL ) Looks like I need to speak with them regarding coloring of each horn also. Regards Ali |

Got my kit on Tuesday, started assembly Wednesday and flew today (Friday)
Must say this is a great kit to work with and man is it easy to fly I went with the O.S. Gemini 160. If it´s scale you would go for it works great and pulls the plane around the sky on 1/2 isj throttle. Made three flights today and no bad habits and landing is a breeze. Flying it again tomorrow and then I will try som aerobatics as well and can come back with details if interest. This is a plane I will fly often Pleased Norwegian Ole Christian Ali; Nothing to apologize for, would just give some feedback since this is a new kit But you have designed a great flying plane her Ali and after the first day at the field it has already turned heads Thank you Ali |

What are you using for a light controller for the two landing lights? it says it's good for 6-12V but there's only two wires hanging out of the wings. I'd almost like to add a beacon and strobes so a light controller is probably needed

Now to get the plane in the air I just use E-flight controller: universal light kit. But in the future i might go for something brighter and ad strobes as well from unilight or similar |

Having a real issue with mounting the canopy. Tried EC 6000 and RC 560. The flange around the outside doesn't match up with the fuselage leaving a gap. I ordered two more. One came broken already. (Thanks Ultimate Plane Smashers!). HH sent me another. The one I've tried for a replacement won't glue down to the fuse smoothly. It leaves gaps around the mid section area. Not sure where to go from here. I wonder if heat inside the delivery trucks are causing the edges to curl back on themselves. I sure don't want to screw the thing in. A real RV doesn't have that. Any ideas would be appreciated. It's a shame HH takes so much time packing them just to have the edges curl up because of heat while shipping

I used dubro button head screws # 525 instead of gluing.

Sorry to hear that you are having issues with your canopies. I will speak to product support and if need be the vendor today about this.
In the mean time. I use a contact adhesive called UHU POR for all my canopies. App;ly to both the canopy and the fuselage. Let it set between 5-10 mins ( Depending how much you use ) then press the canopy down. Its not super aggressive like some contact adhesives, and you can even peel it off if needed? I have peel off and re applied one canopy 3 times now without damaging the covering. Its sticky nature allows me to push the edges down. Be aware that if you rush the application then the initial "grab" is not as good. But you can use tape if need be. I have learnt to judge the set time pretty well and dont need to use tape most of the time. Regards Ali |

Just wondering with all the build questions has anyone flown yet? Looking for a relaxing plane to just fly around and then maybe rip a few aerobatics every so often.
Can someone give a report on the flying characteristics? Does she mush forward when full elevator is applied at slow speed or do the wings drop. It looks like a slow flyer with good habits but not all of us are Ali... LOL! Appreciate any feedback before I sink $450.00 in an airframe. |

I have flown my for about 10-15 flights now and this is a easy, nice flying plane that's easy to land. With flaps she slows down lovely and lands in just a few feet. I have up until now not experienced a wing drop.
My first landing was way slow and everyone at the field just, what??? Easy to control and with my Gemini 160 she flies basic scale airobatics. Not a 3D plane but that's not how I want to fly this nice sport scale plane. Just love to take this plane to the field and have no wories with it. So with this one you'll get your money worth Go for it |
