We'll get some original Outlaws from this area on the same scale soon for direct comparison. STAY TUNED!
RV, where did you get your scale?

Chris, this scale is a 75 lb capacity one from Harbor Freight! It only cost $75 so I bought three of them to weigh larger airplanes (under each wheel). I was a little skeptical about its accuracy but that all went away when Kent Porter, who is in the business of selling maintaining scales, got out his weight set and checked them at the field one day. He was astounded by the accuracy for that price...So was I!

For everyone who did the webra carb modification, why didn't you just rotate it 180 degrees? My buddy did that to his and ran it last weekend. Is there some reason this should not be done?

You can but then the fuel inlet faces the prop. So we just turn that part around to keep the fuel line more manageable and away from the prop.

What he said! I just spun my carb around and my buddy and I were wondering if the reason that mine leans out so much when I pull a 90 degree high speed turn, is because of the fact that the fuel has that extra bend to go around to reach the carb.....

So I'm going to do the flip mod and see if there is a difference...

Is there a performance increase by running the larger can Jay? Or is it about the same as the 2.75oz?

Re: Detailed "Triple Build" from Team Outlaw!

All,
Just wanted to say thanks again for all the input here. I flew mine today, I had high expectatiosn and it delivered! I've been flying Diamond Dusts for years, they are a blast, but holy cow! This thingkicks a$$! I had such a blast flying it today, it screams! And 100+ mph to nothing, flat spin, tumble.... right now! WOW! It's a very nice break form the IMAC routine.

Anyone know where to get parts for the webra? I lost the carb retaining screw today, fortunately I was able to pull the one from my .35 and keep flying, but now I need one for that motor.

Only other problem I had was the grill paint on the mouse can muffler didn't hold up to the nitro, no big deal, just not looking as nice now as it did this morning, are you guys clear coating them afterwards? I may try automotive engine block paint, that should be fairly durable and comes in a ton of colors.

Thanks again for all the info, if you haven't got one yet, GET ONE! If you have, you know what I mean.
Kev

I'm running a TRU-Turn prop nut, the larger anodized one. Not sure what it weighs, could probably find something lighter which would be good.
