Re: Pilot RC 50cc 122" Decathlon

looks great but out of my price range. Like stated above, I can see why it costs that much but its hard to justify that much for a 50cc

Might consider it if the stars align right for me

but Decathlon is even much more diffcult to build and need much more Ultracote. YAK54 does not need to build wing structure, paint Landing gear , paint spinner, no windows, no door, not so many CF wing tube, etc. YAK54 fuselage is smaller than Decathon. but we still sell it at lower price because it use 50cc engine. Hope you can understand.
thanks.

Tony,

For the record, I think the price is very reasonable. I too own my own business and completely understand your point and why it is priced as it is. 3.1m plane for $400-$500 less than any other 3.1m plane. Engine requirement is half the cost as well. So all in all this is a bargain when you add everything up.

If people don't think the price is fair, they can buy something else with their hobby dollars.

Tony, Please! Some Questions?

1. If I order one next week, when can you ship to the USA?
2. Do you guarantee Damage free shipping?
3. What colors will be available to choose from?
4. Can you Post some internal Pictures of the Fuselage Construction and Radio Equipment Layout?
5. Did you make provisions for a Tow Line Release on any of the bulkheads or Empennage?

Thanks!

Hello
pls see below:

1. If I order one next week, when can you ship to the USA?
re: we will ship it at the end of Feb. because Chinese new year holiday is from 25th Jan to 10th Feb.

2. Do you guarantee Damage free shipping?
re: yes. if damage, we will ship the replacement of damage at no charge. because we had bought insurance, DHL will compensate to me too.

3. What colors will be available to choose from?
re: free custom scheme. you can choose what you want.

4. Can you Post some internal Pictures of the Fuselage Construction and Radio Equipment Layout?
re: the prototype crashed after 23 flight due to engine die.. the product is on working now. so I only have the photos at the end of Jan.

5. Did you make provisions for a Tow Line Release on any of the bulkheads or Empennage?
re: sorry, It does not have this design. but it is easy to modify. I will do the design in next batch product.

thanks.

Well, there were some shots of the internal structure !

Hate that happened.... Looks like a big open area, in a bad situation when the engine died ?

So, the lesson here is - The $300.00 Bucks you saved on that Engine really didn't Pan Out? So, Just Pony Up that Extra Doe and Get the DA-60! Especially if you're going to Drop $1300.00 + Shipping on a 50cc Class Airframe.

Tony, I will E-Mail you this week to get this little Dude up on Order....

Thank's

Paul...

Tony, I would like to build one as electric. With regards to battery swaps, where is the gas tank located as my Lipos will most probebly sit somewhere similar ? I will use a Hacker most probebly on 10s set up.

Also, How do we send you our colour scheam ? Does it have to be based on an current scheam ?

Many Thanks
