Does anyone know there is an IMAC event in the North island in November ?.

Just getting into IMAC and keen to do first comp. A Noob ready for his first Basic run out. I have a 75" MXS-R running a DLE-30 that I have yet to maiden but hope to be ready for the November meet at Matamata. My first gasser! This is assuming this event is still on. I'm in Auckland so Norsewood is out for me.

Just as an aside, I'm keen to get in contact with others around Auckland who fly IMAC to get tips and generally chat about the whole thing. Ryan got me back into flying RC but he refuses to leave Wellington LOL. You can probably guess by the avatars that we get along.

Anyway I fly at North Shore (when the weather permits and the field isn't too boggy). Not aware of any IMAC fliers in the club though. Does anyone have any suggestions on who to make contact with or willing to give a new guy some pointers?

Anywhere I could hole up in september? Thinking about flying up to somewhere and possibly borrowing a model... Have no large planes left...

Simo... We are trying for October waharoa... And the good ole days turangi in November . Just waiting for the clubs to confirm.. Bogan will post dates soon! I'm sure someone will sort you out for a plane

Sold the Sukhoi as didn't have enough room at my new place plus haven't flown it since you saw it at the Rumble. Used money to buy one of these:
