126.5" Vision Aero Extra 330 build

Hello,

This will be a long build thread over a few months. We were inspired by past customers to get back into producing kits. We sold Aerotech 12 years ago and focused on out Laser/CNC/Vacuum Forming and Design company. So in early 2018 went back to work asking alot of questions and formulated a plan for 2020. So with that said the build thread will be slow. I want to have input from all that build, what you like don't like and maybe add to the building experience. Even know we have lots of experience with designing and making aerobatic kits since 1992. We can always use great input. Thanks to the long term friends that have encouraged starting a new line of next generation aerobatic kits..

Fuse Rear parts

Formers F8 and F9 all interlock. Tightbond III is a great choice.

This looks like Rob Joyner.... assuming it is, is this just a continuation of your old company (Competition Airframes)?

Not changing the wing tube location when going from a two cylinder to a four cylinder will have a negative impact on the CG on one of the motors.

Good point. But you have to give the builder/pilot the options. So with battery placement it gives the option to change the CG when people don't have that higher budget for a 200. But we did the math and it works. Many build threads show this on other kit's. It's pretty standard with all planes today. I remember having similar discussions years ago with Bob Godfrey at the field. He would would have different wing and stab locations up or down from the thrust line. Bob would go into detail that was pretty cool. He also made a great 300. But again that's a good point. Thanks.
