I use the Tight Bond III. Found it works perfectly. I have seen planes I built over 12 years ago still no issue. Easy clean up. Hinges I use 3/16" Robart Hinge Points. I Cover first, Glue the hinges in then I cut cover and seal the hinge line like the pic.

Going back to the glue being used, What type of glue will you be using on the hinges?, and will you be using Robart pin-hinges? I'm assuming they are a pin-style by seeing the holes in the hinge lines.
My understanding Titebond II is a Great all round option, Faster set, Lighter color, Than III (Little cheaper Not that matters when you buying a small bottle.)

Ive got some Titbeond I that i just got but thinking i might pickup some Titebond II and use the for my full Emhw Build. As two is little stronger and seams like a better all round option from Fuse stick and Formers to firewall and hinges it covers it all. Like having one product that can do it all.

Cowl

Going to try putting the back mounting lip on the bottom cowl and a laminated lip support piece on the top se show it fits before I make a final decision.

B17 off topic

Thought I would share some of the fuselage. CNC glued together. This will be a partial fuselage that is 14ft long 16ft WS. Its going to be a combo mural and static fuselage flying out of the sky. Cool project.

Cowl and Fuse

Fitting the cowl and hatch. I will not be molding the mounting lip in the cowl as shown. It works, but little to flexible for my liking. So I will make another cowl an use like in the past 1/4" lite ply epoxied to the top and bottom half's.
