Screws in tight all the way, but I didn't tighten it. The motor did not come with a wrench. Did yours?

Mine is fine as well. Number 114. all mounted and ready to run. just have to hook up the throttle and choke. That is going to be a pain, as the fuel tank is in the way. May have to go the bellcrank method.

Re: New DL-55 and DL-111

Bob at DLUSA said to mount the engine on the plane to run it and not to use a test stand, I am still waiting for my plane and wanted to run my new DL55. A golf cart's cowl will allow for viberations to transfer............., and why not, the cart cowl is getting replaced anyway. Engine ran great, after a test run, I shut it off to allow it to cool and then I restarted it with just one flip.

It was the perfect opportunity, but I don't want the thread to get off track...

Your right, it's not a "good" thing. It's a GREAT thing! The price for a Turnigy is 239.00 ! If you think thats cheap, take into consideration they only cost about 39 dollars to produce in China.
love the competition!

My new DL55 is breaking nicely, just under a half gallon and running strong already. Excellent starting hot or cold, so far so good.

Re: New DL-55 and DL-111

We have a few of the 111's here. I have mine on a 34% Columbo Anderson with KS cannisters for playing with. Unfortunatly the kit was pre-cannister design so it was not cannister friendly. Headers are going to be a little shorter then stock but we will see. If the weather gets nicer we should at least get the one fired up, hopefully flying this week. Seems like a nice engine, we got a few of them and two are being used. The second will be with stock exhaust in a friends aeroworks extra 35%.

I have loose fitting plugs on my 100. They will rock in the threads all the way down until plugs set on base gasket. Be sure not to over torque them!. <RutnBuc> Also the cheap plugs that come with engines are crap. Replace them with NGK CM6 as soon as possible.

Not sure if it is already posted, but I see that TBM has the DLE-222 listed.
