Put it in the right spot
Why is it that people won't take the time to put their ads in the right category? FG's has gone to the trouble to make looking for what you want easy; looking for a plane, then go to planes and not have to wade through all the engines and parts, and electronics. It really isn't that hard guys!

Well, as long as the site admin lets it slide, they don't have to. All in the enforcement actions in my opinion.
I never have understood why someone would post in the wrong category but history proves it happens all the time on this site. |

A little grammar and spelling helps as well.

What gets my goat is the repeat add several times in a row like they thought it didn't post so they post it again and again.
Oh.. and incomplete info...saying a plane has hitec servos tells me nothing...I want the numbers.. etc |

Baaaaaaaa, Baaaaaaaa. (Sorry, couldn't resist, lol.)
I know, like the brand only has really great stuff and therefore, it is worth top dollar. The lack of good info on what they are selling is a show stopper for me and I don't look any further at their ads. |

What gets my goat is when some calls it an add when clearly it's an ad

Yep.. Although I enjoy reading the forums and shoppin it up... I see the same things you guys do. I'm not a grammar freak, or spelling freak, and I'm far from perfect, and I generally like to follow the formats we have. It's very perplexing though when people just blatantly disregard any structure that exists.
Double posts, cross posting, typos, punctuation, terrible incomplete requests for information... that might as well say ""I have a plane, somethings wrong with it, what's wrong with it?""... or the ones that don't understand how to study an owners manual, and expect us/you/me to rewrite it and ask 1000 questions until such time as they might understand(which would be never regardless). It doesn't surprise me people don't pay any attention to a category they post in, hell, they don't even pay attention to what's right at their fingertips and how they might be able to use it to actually communicate. It's kind of scary, as the words we type come directly from our brain to our fingertips, so whatever their problem is, either gets totally lost in that short nanosecond, or they're just mindless. Alright... I'm done. I feel better. Hope I don't get a point for this post, but I'd wanted to put it out somewhere for a while. Nothing personal to any particular individual of course, and I'm glad I'm not alone with stuff. Thanks. |

As I read the forum threads along with some ads, I wonder just how some people were able to build a decent airplane. Or if I would even want to fly one they built. If they can't figure out where to put an ad. Or spell the name of the plane what kind of quality can you expect. I guess it is lucky that the ARF companies provide most of the hard work. Enough said. Hopefully spell check will help. |
