As Props mentioned, you can always cut your own.

I have ordered them from http://www.jackssmallengines.com/ but there are many such sites. Even if you need just one gasket its OK as the kit is just a few dollars.

You can always cut one yourself... sometimes thats more satisfying

A strange scenario... Engine runs perfect first flight of the day... Then when I land and try to start it doesn't start easily... Many flips and choke on off again and again... It eventually starts

dies instantly when I give it throttle unless my idle is very high.. And transition becomes poor

This same thing has happened few weekends now

Running redline 40 1...fromeco liion.. Rcexl kill switch.. Secraft tank and felt clunk

Should i try replacing the clunk?

Some details might help.

Did it run ok previously.
Which engine?
When was the metering or pump diaphragm last replaced?

Also, but a little more advanced, maybe the pop off pressure is too high if it's a new engine.
If it ran ok previously which we don't know maybe not.
Pop off pressure has to do with the spring pressure of the metering diaphragm.
Your engine sounds like it's lean, like the low needle is closed too far, or the metering spring has too much tension.

Like I said, a few more details may help.

Let's hear it.

Take care
Bob

When I was racing gas boats the first thing we did when an engine started acting up was swap out the diaphragm. Cheap and easy to do. I bags full of them. It is also possible that you are flooding the engine on the later attempts. Once warmed up and running for a day you may not need much, if any, prime to get it going. One other point, to prime I am now confirming that the ignition is off and then I rock the prop back and forth quickly against compression. This provides the pulse the carb needs to pump fuel. These carbs do not "suck" fuel like a nitro engine does. The carb pumps it.

Had a DA 35 with similar issues chased it around as a carb issue for weeks. Finally replaced the ignition and that solved it. I think that as the ignition heated up it quit working. Hence the first good flight. If you can swap out the ignition I think that will solve it.

I'm not over priming at all.. Infact don't even choke it...it starts.. Runs rough.. I throttle it.. It dies..

If i keep a high idle.. It runs.. But again its rough

Ignition heating up?.. I think after a 10 min break it should cool down enough...

I'll start backtracking from the fuel tank i guess... The felt clunk hasn't been changed in over 100 flights... That might be a reason????... Although that wouldn't explain why it runs fine for the first flight...

What abt vapor lock?
