Dave Patrick Edge 540T

So I was out of RC for around 8 or so years, and got back into in last year. I started out slow with a EF Timber then progressed to my latest airplane.
When I left RC, my highest achievement was a Aeroworks Yak 54 50cc. Having a collection of electric airplane, I felt I was missing something. Yes, it was a gasser, lol. So I recently acquired a Dave Patrick Edge 540T, 30cc-ish, 78" wingspan plane. I got it a good price and it was a minimum buy in.

It's not new and has had a repair, but still good bones. I had a DLE 55, so that 's what I installed. This is plane looks bigger than a 30-35cc airplane and not much heavier than the 35cc. In fact, she came in at 15.lb.

My plan is to fly it, if i like the it, then i'll do a restore and recover job. its like finding that classic car, i guess.

I would like to see if anyone have an info on this bird. Like the actual specs, CG, and so on. It's not fully needed but the information would be nice.

I'll also update this as i go along and post the video on my YouTube channel ( I'll put a link below). thanks for checking out the blog,

V.
