**New GWS brushless motors**

I dont know if anyone has heard about this yet but GWS is going to be making brushless motors! They are continuing to provide high quality electric power systems at a very low price. Along with an out-runner and other various size inrunners, they will have a 400 and a 450 size inrunner claiming 50+ and 75+ oz's of thrust respectively. Price? get this....400 size-$30; 450 size-$35!!!!!!!!! I read this in a FLY RC magazine today at the local Barns and Noble. The only thing i could find on GWS's site was this...

hope their thrust and price claims are true, almost seems too good to be true...

Re: **New GWS brushless motors**

I don't have any info on those engines, but theyt are supposed to produce also smaller ones for foamies. This is a quote from GWS: "Another GWS BL out runner motor which will able to provide 16~24 oz thrust will be price at $15.
Yet, an economic type out runner BL motors which still under developemet will be price at $8 for 10~15 oz thrust; $10 for 15~20 oz thrust." Those smaller ones are not performing good- even worse than typical GWS 350 with gearbox: more current for the same prop and RPMs

Re: **New GWS brushless motors**

I'll let myself get glued to Your topic.

In one of Polish shops this GWS motor is going to be avaliable with a speed controler. I wish to start flying on BL motors and i have a question: Has anybody tried this set? What are the parameters of this engine? Is it worth to buy it only for the speed controller if the engine isn't considered as a good motor? I have almost no cash right now, so price is very improtant for me.

Thanks in advance for reply
