Probably best to do a clean set up, but use the other radio for a reference. Zero all sub trims and make mechanical adjustments first. Also on the trim levers on the radio you can adjust how much each click is of movement, ie a very fine trim adjustment etc.

Cool thank you , When I Mean manual, Its fully manual , I need to re input all from scratch But that's ok I don't have much programming really.

Thanks for that, I was thinking of re doing the sub trims.

Mode A is a medium speed (115.2Kbps) protocol that is based on the original SRXL protocol created by Multiplex. It is the exact same protocol that JETI UDI uses. Mode B is the high speed (250Kbps) protocol that offers a LOT more features, including failsafe data to be sent to the receiver. I would highly recommend using Mode B because it's substantially faster and more secure than Mode A. Latency difference is many milliseconds.

Why does the manufacturer recommend to A and not B if it is better and faster. If I am using all modern or new XBus servos from JR can I use mode B. If I do what difference will I notice. Will the servos work.?

Question on the XBus system. If you have servo and you do not know how it has been been programmed for example it is programmed to the rudder and #3 how can you find this out. Note do not have the separate XBus programmer.

Since we are talking JR and xbus

Is it possible to use non JR digital servos with xbus?
I know you can use PWM servos with their convertor but do you have to use proprietary JR servos with the plain style xbus hub or can you use "off" brand digital?
Thanks

So JR xbus will only work with JR xbus servos it’s there own tech, however xbus port to pwm converters will work with any servo 198: but only in pwm mode

You can bind the receiver in XBus or PWM .

It works really well. I like that it can be connected either Xbus or conventional PWM. You can also set the delay for engine shutdown after loss of signal with setting different end points. The telemetry feedback for RPM was almost identical as with using a manual tachometer. I have to admit that most of my recent builds I have used the tech aero iBEC as it's a simpler solution. You'd have to use another means for capturing rpm telemetry if that's important to you.

You must use Xbus enabled JR servos directly on the Xbus system. As you mentioned, with Xbus converters you can use any PWM servo you wish. The converters simply allow you to use existing servos (non Xbus)in an Xbus system. If you're purchasing new servos, and Xbus is want your using it makes sense to buy Xbus servos and lose the converters.
