It looks like the cooling vents/can exits are incorporated into the fuse build, a great idea. I can't see the entire interior of the fuse sides, but the lightening holes in the sides don't seem to allow for an easy switch mount. Maybe they are there and I just can't see them. Looks great in the photo.

For those planes that will use twin cylinder engines, please include baffles. Also, consider tidy wire harness routing and quick release wing and stab fasteners.

Whatever plane(s) you decide to start with how about using single piece landing gear......not a big fan of the two piece

Went back and looked, sure enough, in his first post (thread starter) he notes a 260.

If at all possible a true 150cc size aeroplane would be nice.

Need to add some material to the sides for switches. Just leave it solid and let us cut to fit our switches since there are so many options / sizes.

Hughes H1

I would really like a Hughes H1. It is a beautiful, historically important airplane and no one models it.

I think it would be fast and aerobatic, different than edges, extras...etc. A 120 cc engine, 110 inch wing span with retracts.

I am excited to see that you are back into the business.
Really like the pictures you posted of the new Extra.

I will start saving for one of your planes when they become available!

Mark,

When do you anticipate the 260 being available to the public? You have definitely peaked my interest.

I’m hoping to have the first shipment in the states around October or November.

We’re moving along on the assembly of the prototype, making changes as we go and taking pictures for the manual. Desert Aircraft hooked us up with a brand new 120, we’ll be flying the prototype on stock mufflers but all the supports for cans and pipes are installed and ready to drop your exhaust in easily.
