Packs when i recieved them looked to be poorly made cheap Chinese LiFe packs with zero attempt to make them look anything other than what they were, unbranded cheap batteries. I removed the shrink wrap to see what cells were underneath, you never know if they were just badly packaged and soldered genuine cells, and when i did i found out they were poor quality LiFe cells inside. I informed the owner and sent links, videos and various info to show him that they were not real A123 cells that he was miselling as genuine. His response was to just say that his chinese wholesaler claimed they were real and if I was unhappy to return them. The scam in my mind and why i will never buy from him was despite the info I provided him from A123 about significant differences between their cells and the cheap chinese fakes and how to spot them, he continued and still continues to sell the same cheap fake ones as real genuine A123 batteries. I accept people do make mistakes, but knowingly misspelling poor quality fake copies as genuine is not a mistake, it is complete dishonesty and total contempt for his customers. Which is why I will never spend another cent with his company. I had to order some new A123 packs from the UK, and the nasty fake ones he sold me ended up being used in a cordless starter I made and gave to a club mate. I will not use unknown quality fake batteries in a 1500 euro plane. That was over 2 years ago, link to the cheap batteries he is still selling as A123 ones here http://www.intermodel.fr/accus-batte...00mah-30c.html |
