Hey, no going back on your word. You even told me you'd be there when we flew in St. Charles, Mo.
Don't you need to call for the STLAV8R?

Here are the current people signed up on www.mini-iac.com

Gary Hunt Advanced
Chris Scheldt Basic
Mark Chronister Basic
Jerry Ream Basic
Bruce Kern Basic
Chad Moroni Basic
Gary Pierson Basic
Doug Swanson Intermediate
Mike Hilderbrandt Intermediate
Roger Russell Sportsman
Ron Freeman Sportsman

Mike H. you are good enough you need to fly with Gary H. in Advanced. You guys need to get with Mike S. and see if you can get him to go also.

If we can get any local people to fly even in basic, 66Stang, you can fly the freestyle also. You will just need to bring your throws down a notch or two from full deflection.

I'm thinking maybe I'll try basic.. But have no idea what the moves are. There was a guy who video taped this stuff. Any idea where they are located.. I need to also figure out how to fly a straight line!

Cool it should be a blast, if nothing else it's a day of flying and meeting up with some friends! Damn I just thought of something, I'm gonna have to trim my plane!

Jared, sign up at the IMAC web-site http://www.mini-iac.com/ and Fly in BASIC, you'll be glad you did. Don't have high expectations at the first Contest, learn how it works, meet the people and have fun. It's a great group of Pilots and Flying the Sequence is fun.

You don't have to join IMAC. You will just have to pay a few more dollars for entry fee which can be paid at the event. You can fly the basic sequence http://www.mini-iac.com/Portals/0/Do...2010_BASIC.pdf. And just show up with your plane ready to go. The good thing about basic is you can pretty much fly anything. Stick, trainer plane, aerobatic, piper cub, it doesn't matter. You also won't have to worry about unknowns either. If you fly 3D we may have a freestyle also, I believe it is on Saturday after the known rounds. I believe this is 3 min. freestyle to music. If I am wrong I apologize.

But if you make the trip and decide to go to St. Louis it is only a couple of miles away.
