Albert that is great news. If you need help running LVRCS just say the word. That is a good contest and I would have been very disappointed if we lost that field based on one persons actions.

Shouldn't regionals be further South - what if plane hits iceberg or gets eaten by polar bear?

Pencil in August 21st and 22nd for Milford. Also, the Milford club is super flexible so we can work around other dates if needed. Albert, the IMAA Rally of Giants is on your Farview weekend (and at the same field ).

Also, as we go through this process, let's keep in mind other RC events and holidays that we might want to schedule around. Here's a partial list but I'm sure I forgot some. Please ad to it.

I used the 2008 dates for the NATs Joe Nall and such taking into account the date versus day thing

I am in the process of creating a calendar mod to our NE forum that will allow you to see and add a contest based on your username.

I created one for Google but it is somewhat convoluted

I think Clover Creek is a bi-annual event. I dont think it is being held in 09. Don't quote me on that though.

That's right.

There is going to be a big contest at Clover Creek this year Sept 4-6th. They are expecting 70 pilots. It's a fair drive even from the southern part of the NE Region- 13 hours from DC.

Just to clarify...the Clover Creek Invitational is a bi-annual event...

but as dmicheal states there will be a regional contest at Clover Creek this year.. and due to its location, it should be a biggy!

Gents in the NE... It is great to see the energy back.... with such a large population base up there, the NE could and SHOULD be huge!
