I'm not interested in compitition... Mister, I just wanna fly! (think Yamaha commercial, Just wanna ride) I just have fun doing my thing. Love the social atmosphere of the flying clubs. Love watching all the great models flying, love the smell of kerosene after a 190mph low flyby, and love the fact that I can join in on the fun from time to time.

Wasn't trying to give you a hard time or anything just saying that your flying is quite good and offering a suggestion.

Never teach your wife to fly or shoot! A line dance of Rockettes down the runway would be nice though.

YouTube- Tina Turner - Private dancer
There is a person I know who is a former Rockette, and now is a lead singer in a Rock cover band.

She is like a walking set of Legs with a Neck and head...

kewl.... I used to play guitar in a garage metal band lots of Metallica and Judas Priest covers. Now I just play for fun at home, but still have most of my guitar stuff.

Although maybe we could try to arrange a chorus line :-P lol

Ha... I still Jam on occasion. Floyd / Doors / Beatles / Stones to name a few. Started when Grudge was the big thing in the mid 90's when I was 16, so I know almost every friggin Nirvana Song that was out. I'll often drop a Hendrix riff here and their as well.

Sold my electric equipment, but still have the trusty old Acoustic

ROTFLMBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been flying for 17 years AND I carry a .380 Ruger LCP. But, then again, my husband didn't teach me either activity. I was flying and shooting long before he and I were an item - guess that's what attracted us to each other.

Anywho...I fly giant scale gas (40% Carden Extra 300) and love foamies...the only glow airplane we have currently is a trainer used for introducing newbies to the hobby. I also fly nitro and electric helis and own/operate my own aerial photography business using my e-heli AP ship (see link in my signature).

My passion for this hobby is as strong as (maybe stronger) my hubby's. We LOVE spending time at the field, especially with our children. My oldest son (6) is really into RC cars, but he'll fly his Piloto and EasyStar when the wind is calm. I cannot wait for my 4 YO daughter to start. She's asking to fly already...I just don't want her to start too soon.

We really enjoy the camaraderie in this hobby and we're both looking forward to our first Nall experience next week. We'll be setting up camp on Saturday and staying for the whole thing. Lookin' forward to meeting you all who are attending! There's at least gonna be 3 ladies there...maybe more!

Re: Female RC Pilots

Hah, I got banned from RCUniverse years ago for going off on a woman that was whining that she didn't feel "accepted" at her club (IE the men didn't wait on her hand and foot and she was treated like another guy).

At our field, aside from Kids Adventure Days and other events with children we only have one female pilot and she JUST came out for the first time with her husband, flying Raptor heli. But probably 50, so yeah, not really eye candy... hahaha.

If I was married I'd be going to the field to get AWAY from the wife. It's a male sanctuary
