I agree but what's really shameful is the fact that they never had good supply of spare parts available. My windshield was busted from the poor way they packaged it at the factory. Took about 4 months to get a new one.

If there not going to make replacement parts they should sell or give the dies and/or molds to a company that will make them.

I asked a Horizon Hobby Rep about any support or a CAD file of the 110 timber cowl and the response was:

". . . I am sorry, but we do not have the Cad to share. The vendor had it all and they closed their doors a few years back now. Sorry, I cant be of more help. . ."

It's a shame for US and Horizon... expect I would imagine they could have put in more effort to remake the fixtures to reproduce the 110" timber and make it better than before.

I have a hard time spending $600 or more for a plane when they don’t support us with parts. I know they make there big money on selling new planes not parts.

That's just horizon hobby and hangar 9. . . they have a reputation to discontinue planes quickly. I think the factory closing was just an excuse to prematurely discontinue the 110" Timber. Super bummer for us.
Extreme Flight will be releasing the 100" TurboBushmaster soonish and would be a good replacement... it will be around for a very long time judging by the track record.

Extreme Flight planes are very nice. I will have to check out the new one when it comes out. There planes have been out of stock for a long time.

I was debating purchasing the timber but was discontinued before I made up my mind. I was super disappointed but ended up with a bushmaster. This was my first EF plane and have built 4 more since. Couldn’t be happier.

If I would have known that HH would drop the 110 the way they did, I should have bought a couple back up parts.

When I buy a HH plane I get and extra cowl and windshield/canopy right away. If I don’t need them I know I can sell them later. I got my timber used and at that time parts were not available.

Yes Sir, woulda, shoulda, coulda. Luckily so far mine is still in good shape, knock on wood !!

If memory serves me right, I don't think there ever was a good supply of spare parts.
