Very cool to see! Glad to see your commitment to IMAC Kevin. Not many can do it with a family and job, but you have been pulling it off. Can’t wait to see it this year!

Kevin,

Although this is an event I have never been able to attend due to my work conflicts. I want to thank you for your continued dedication and support not only for this event but for IMAC as well. I know all to well how life and responsibilities take priority over toy airplanes at times! Thank you for finding the balance to keep this event going.

Thanks for the words. It was challenging last year running the shootout with a little one but my wife and I did it. We fully enjoy supporting the Tucson event and I want to see it keep going as it helps support IMAC and it’s organization.

I watched the live feed from Dubai Mall last year. Kevin and his team did an outstanding job!

As Covid-19 continues to spread, we have made the decision to cancel the 2020 Tucson Aerobatic Shootout. Normally cancelling the Shootout would be a very difficult decision, but in light of the massive and ongoing impact of the virus, it is actually easy to be realistic and pro-active.
Unlike a casual fly-in, a top tier international competition like the Shootout takes a huge amount of preparation from everyone involved. The ongoing effects of the pandemic greatly inhibit those efforts. While we are sad we won’t be hosting all of our friends in Tucson this fall, we look forward to seeing everyone again in 2021.
