Over the last 5 years New Garden Flying Field (southeast PA) has made several major facility improvements, including the removal of 27.5 acres of trees, the addition of a new parallel taxiway and a total reconstruction of our main runway. The runway is now 60’ wide and 3700’ long with modern pilot controlled LED lighting. Come join us for SummerFest 2020, Jet and Giant Scale WarBird Rally, June 12-14. This unique event will include a weekend full of R/C flying and something for your entire family. All weekend long you will experience a FESTIVAL like no other with live bands, beer and wine garden, kid zone, car and tractor show, craft vendors and food. You don’t want to miss the full scale aerobatic displays during the day and night with FIREWORKS!!!! Matt Younkin will be one of our star performers during the weekend in his Beech 18, as well as Paul Dougherty in his Christian Eagle, and Kevin Russo in his SNJ.

Proceeds from SummerFest 2020 will go towards supporting New Garden Flying Field’s Future Aviators Program. The Future Aviators Program, established in 2009 was created to promote and expose all aspects of aviation to youngsters between the ages of 7-15. Our program offered in July and August at New Garden Airport has touched the lives of many youngsters from all over the United States.
